FAQ: Romance, Sex with Another Soul

Q. What is casual sex?

A. “Casual sex or hooking up refers to certain types of human sexual activity outside the context of a romantic relationship. The term is not always used consistently: some use it to refer to any extramarital sex, some use it to refer to sex in a casual relationship, whereas others reserve its use for one-time encounters, promiscuity, or to refer to sex in the absence of emotional attachment or love.”

Q. Is it good to practice casual sex?

A. It’s very bad, actually. It lowers the biological immunity of your body, raising the risks for STDs. It builds opaque spots on your soul, these may prove harder to heal than many physiological diseases. Socially and professionally, an undesired pregnancy may ruin your dreams and happy life for decades (let not mention the entire life of your undesired baby).

Q. What is romance?

A. Romance is when your soul has sex with another soul (took this from a movie, watch it below my post!). As a spiritual attraction, romance develops into a particular “chemistry,” beyond looks and fluids, because your soul is more sophisticated than your body. Romantic sexuality plans and cares for more than the already-gone present, it playfully calls reason into the game, it asks around on the Network (think you know what the Network-of-souls is and to Whom it connects) before making decisions that imply the intimate usage of your body.

Sex without love is like an ocean without water, like a sunrise without breeze, a bitter-sweet betrayal to yourself.

An intelligent gal will always crave for romance and for the natural –poetic and passionate– course of love: glances, flirt and words (lots of words!), romance, engagement, marriage, plenty of sex, kids, more kids, monster times, grown-up kids going their ways, mission accomplished!

At this point you may take your man skinny dipping or doing some nude sunbathing to chase nostalgia away from midlife. And you’ll be thankful to have listened to your heart and romantic mind when you were young. However, useless remorse will find a way to bite every now and then…

And how better can you ignore its ugly shadow than with a spotless soul?

Yes, no one’s having that, but you know, as I do, about Someone that cleans your soul better than Mr. Clean himself. No spot can stand!

Found this video poem, by a young and wise chap, on his name Jeff Bethke, while reading about Intimacy in Marriage. A must see.

I wish my daughters will find their charming princes with a similar mindset like this young man. Enjoy the Youtube poem!
