Blurred Photos

During any photo shooting, a certain amount of the resulting images are blurred, one cannot just go on and publish them. On the other hand, hubby won’t throw them to the bin either because “you look so adorable,” says he. Here comes the image manipulation program, also known as The GIMP among Linux geeks. The word for normal people is “photoshopping” as in manipulating the image with Adobe Photoshop – but that’s not running on Linux. Why on earth did they choose to name their image manipulator GIMP?!… Maybe there’s no marketing department in Geekland or not enough ladies… Who can tell…

Since we find ourselves talking raw, the sheer majority of our published photos go unedited – just have a peep on my Southern Charms site. I take pleasure in presenting my body how it is in reality: no paintbrush, no spraying, no blurring, just natural. The following images were “naturally” blurred by accidental focusing of the camera, by me being photographed in motion, etc. and artistically “gimped” with the Linux “photoshopping” tool of choice: The GIMP. OMG!
