And Then Came the Kids


On a hot summer day we got married. Young and irresponsible, we loved reading books, after wasting significant amounts to procure them. We loved writing our ideas down, until nights waned off into the drawers, chased by happy and terribly tired dawns.

And then we slept some, went to office (some), only to come back home and spend the afternoons with our dog and (some) of the neighborhood’s cats.

And then, couple years later, came the kids, and the worries, and the responsibilities. Were we already old?
