Memo of a 52 Str8 Guy

Own one 50 yo wife.
Change for two 25 yo.
D’oh…

Every morning past 5
I take her for a ride.
Same bed.

What if she still
Sleeps?
She’ll wake up!
Anyways.

She always does.

Plan to
Get her
Pregnant.

For the 4th time.
Bravely!

What if the clock
Is ticking.
What clock?

Cougar Bunny, 50
(Car Backseat Chatter)

Why did she?
You ask.
Didn’t you know?
Thought you did…

She left him.
Because he slept.
With the secretary.
Once.

Tossed him.
After he confessed.
Immediately.
Willingly.

“People make mistakes.”
Says the auntie.
In half voice.
And a sigh…

They do.
Says the Cougar.
We all do.
Facts of being alive.

I’d beat him hard,
If he’d lie to me.

Because!

No laceration.
On his skin.
May hurt as deeply.
As a lie.
To my soul.

And then.
We’d move forward.
Together.

Love is
Tough.
Like life
Is.

Few aunties,
And
Couple cousins
Around,
Make eyes.
Big.

And turn.
To me.
Muted.

What?
Wonders the Cougar.

I’ve battered him
With a broom.
For coming home.
Drunk and late.
His mom
Watching
Me
Hitting him.

He was 22.
Then.
When he got
The Broom.
On his back.
And face?
Maybe.
Dunno.
I forgot.

Silence.
More
Silence.

Are they scared?
Should they be?

My Curious Guy, 48

Simple.
Straightforward.
Outfoxing
Left and
Right.

Got bunnied
By a future cougar.

Tough is dewy.
And candour blossoms.
Upon rugged rock.
Like Edelweiss.

A paw.
Of a lion.
Or lioness.

Foxes and bears.
Who cares?

He asks me.
To own him.
More.
Deeper?

Public Domains

Was afraid.
Dunno why.
Or of whom.

Yet fears,
Like anything
Else,
Eventually end.

Like words do.
Down to
Public Domain.

We all do:
Fears,
Words,
Ends.

Told him:
Go!
Buy me.
What will do.

And he did.
The hour
Next.

I take it.
From the mailman.
Today.

Indoor.
Gazing at
the box.
His eyes ask.

I speak:
Not yet!
Wait till 49.
Before
I own
You.

Inch by Inch.
Each and
Every
Inch.

Expectation.

I like
Watching
His eyes.

Waiting.
